BY CAR
From Carlisle:- Take M74 to Glasgow from Carlisle. The M73 to Glasgow north; The M8 to Glasgow Airport /Greenock. The A737 to Irvine after 9.1 miles take road on right to Largs/Lochwinnoch A760. After approx 1.2 miles at the petrol station on left take B786 road on right marked to Kilmacolm. After 1.4 miles take single track road left to Muirshiel Country Park . After 450 yards take left fork marked Muirshiel Country Park. Barrs of Cloak is 350 yards further on the right 30ft above the road. Drive up the path and turn into the red chipped yard

FROM GLASGOW AIRPORT:
- Take the A737 to Irvine after approximately 9.1 miles take the A760 road on the right to Lochwinnoch/Largs. After approx 1.2 miles at the petrol station on left take B786 road on right marked to Kilmacolm. After 1.4 miles take single track road marked to Muirshiel Country Park . After 450 yards take left fork marked Muirshiel Country Park. Barrs of Cloak is 350 yards further on the right 30ft above the road. Drive up the path and turn into the red chipped yard.

FROM LARGS:
- Take the A760 to Kilbirnie and Lochwinnoch. After you enter Lochwinnoch at the filling station on the right, take the B786 on the left marked to Kilmacolm. Approximately 1.4 miles further take the single track road on the left at Boghead Cottage marked to Muirshiel Country Park. 450 yards on fork left towards the Country Park. Barrs of Cloak is 350 yards further on the right 30ft above the road. Drive up the path and turn into the red chipped yard
